Well, that didn't take long. The On30 fever has passed. I am going to stick with HO Scale...at least for now.
I purchased another GE 70 ton switcher off of e-Bay (loco on the right). I was going to convert this loco into an On30 critter using a conversion kit from Boulder Valley Models, but decided against it. I simply do not have the space to build an On30 layout that will satisfy my operating interests. Sure, I could have built an On30 micro layout, but again this would not satisfy my current level of interest.
I will be building the HO track plan I posted back in March.
